How to use the fancy text and letter converter
Unlike the 16-style quick preview on our home page, this tool unlocks all 62 Unicode transformations in our engine with category filters. You can convert whole sentences, social media captions, or single fancy letters.
Enter your text, word, or single letter
Type or paste up to 200 characters into the input field. If you only need a stylized initial or fancy alphabet letters, type those specific letters to compare all 62 variations side by side.
Filter by 13 typography and decoration categories
Use the category bar (Serif, Sans, Script, Gothic, Monospace, Double-struck, Enclosed, Small Caps, Decorative, Lines, Frames, Glitch, and Fun) to narrow down the list to the exact aesthetic you want.
Click any style card to copy and paste
Clicking a card copies the converted Unicode string to your clipboard and marks the card as "Copied". Paste it directly into Instagram, TikTok, Discord, WhatsApp, YouTube comments, or your gaming profile.
How to choose the right font style (with examples and character coverage)
Covers uppercase, lowercase, and digits 0–9. Best for headlines, bio headers, and key phrases.
Covers letters A–Z and a–z while keeping digits 0–9 in standard ASCII. Popular for Instagram and TikTok.
Classic blackletter look favored for dark gamertags, metal/rock aesthetics, and Discord server titles.
Maps both uppercase and lowercase letters to Basic Multilingual Plane phonetic capitals that rarely turn into boxes in mobile games.
Wraps your input in symmetrical Tibetan/Javanese flourishes or Japanese corner brackets.
Circled transforms letters and digits (①–⑨, ⓪); Squared/Negative Squared maps letters into uppercase badge tiles.
Character coverage by style: Letters (A–Z, a–z) vs. Digits (0–9)
Not every Unicode block includes its own numbers. Bold Serif (𝟎–𝟗), Sans-Serif (𝟢–𝟫), Bold Sans (𝟬–𝟵), Monospace (𝟶–𝟿), Double-Struck (𝟘–𝟡), Fullwidth (0–9), Superscript (⁰–⁹), Subscript (₀–₉), and Circled (⓪–⑨) convert both letters and digits. By contrast, Script, Italic, Fraktur/Gothic, Small Caps, and Squared blocks only define letters in Unicode, so digits 0–9 remain clean standard numbers.
Readable styles for bios, captions, and messages
For multi-word sentences, stick to Serif, Sans-Serif, Italic, Script, Monospace, or Small Caps. These preserve natural word spacing and remain easy for followers to read at a glance.
Decorative, framed, and glitch styles for short titles
Categories like Frames (꧁༒...༒꧂), Lines (underline, strikethrough, slash), Decorative look-alikes, and Glitch (Zalgo combining marks) add multiple characters per letter. Use them for short nicknames or 1–2 word hooks rather than long paragraphs.
What happens with Turkish (ç, ğ, ı, İ, ö, ş, ü) and Spanish (ñ, á, é, í, ó, ú) letters?
Real outputs on Turkish and Spanish words (NFD combining marks)
Standard Unicode math blocks only define plain ASCII A–Z and a–z. When you type Turkish letters (ç, ğ, ö, ş, ü) or Spanish letters (ñ, á, é, í, ó, ú, ü), our engine decomposes each character via NFD into its base letter plus its combining mark, styles the base letter, and reattaches the diacritic. For example, Turkish "Şekilli" becomes "𝓢̧𝓮𝓴𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓲" in Bold Script, and Spanish "Niño Dragón" becomes "𝓝𝓲𝓷̃𝓸 𝕯𝖗𝖆𝖌𝖔́𝖓" (while inverted punctuation ¿ and ¡ stay intact).
Special protection for Turkish dotless "ı" and dotted "İ"
Turkish distinguishes between dotless ı (U+0131) and dotted i. Our converter never turns ı into i: for example, "Kılıç" renders as "𝘒ı𝘭ıç̧" in Sans Italic and "ᴋɪʟɪᴄ" in Small Caps, using dedicated dotless glyphs (such as 𝚤 in Italic and ɪ in Small Caps) or keeping ı untouched.
When cards show the "Some accents dropped" badge
In enclosed badges (like Ⓐ or 🅰), Small Caps (where "Şekilli" becomes "ꜱᴇᴋɪʟʟɪ" and "Niño" becomes "ɴɪɴᴏ"), fullwidth CJK characters, superscripts, and upside-down text, attaching a combining accent causes overlapping clutter on mobile screens. Those styles automatically fall back to the clean base letter and display the "Some accents dropped" badge.
Why styled text may look different or get rejected
- Device and OS font rendering: iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS use different system fallback fonts (such as Apple Symbols, Noto Sans Math, or Segoe UI Symbol), so the exact stroke weight of Script or Gothic letters varies slightly by screen.
- Missing glyph boxes (□) in strict games: Games that only bundle Basic Multilingual Plane (BMP) fonts cannot render supplemental math characters (U+1D400+). If you see boxes in a game, switch to Small Caps, Circled, or Fullwidth.
- Screen-reader accessibility: Screen readers often read mathematical or enclosed Unicode letters individually ("mathematical bold capital A...") or skip them. Avoid putting critical information (like dates or links) solely in heavy decorative text.
- Combining mark filters: Form fields with anti-spam rules may strip heavy Glitch/Zalgo marks or multi-line underline characters.
Which other tool can help you next?
If you are styling text for a specific platform with strict character or font rules, try one of these dedicated tools:
- Instagram Fonts
Filters down to the 24 styles that render cleanly on iOS and Android Instagram apps, paired with a live 150-character bio counter.
- Discord Fonts
Checks Discord’s 32-character display name limit and includes 11 copy-and-paste cards for native Discord chat Markdown formatting.
- Cool Symbols
Lets you pick individual stars, hearts, clan kanji (亗, 乂, ツ), and brackets (꧁꧂) to combine with your styled letters.
- PUBG Name Style
Validates your styled text against PUBG Mobile’s 14-character limit and highlights characters that might fail on the Rename Card screen.
Frequently asked questions
›Are these real installable fonts or Unicode characters?
They are real Unicode character sequences, not .ttf or .otf font files. Because each styled letter is its own Unicode code point, the style stays intact when you copy and paste it into social media bios, chat messages, or game profiles.
›How can I copy individual fancy letters or a full alphabet?
Type a single letter (or the full A–Z alphabet) into the input box above. All 62 cards will immediately show that letter or alphabet in every style so you can copy just the character you need.
›What does the "Some accents dropped" badge mean on some cards?
When your input contains accented or Turkish characters (like ç, ğ, ş, ö, ü, or ñ, á, é, í, ó, ú), styles that cannot attach combining diacritics—such as Enclosed Squares, Small Caps, Fullwidth, or Inverted text—strip the accent to prevent broken boxes and display the "Some accents dropped" badge.
›Why do some fancy letters count as two characters on X/Twitter or in games?
Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols (U+1D400–U+1D7FF) reside outside the Basic Multilingual Plane. Platforms that measure length in UTF-16 code units count each mathematical letter as 2 units, whereas our validator tools count Unicode code points.
